💜Lifting as We climb💜
East St. Louis Women's Club is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting women. Since our beginning in 1973, it's been our privilege to champion the wellbeing of women and community service every day, forging relationships and touching lives. Our efforts create ripples of positive change within our communities, as the women we support go on to give back to the people around them.

ESTLWC History
At a Glimpse-
The East St. Louis Women’s Club (ESTLWC) was established in 1973 as the first women’s club in East St. Louis to be recognized and federated under the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, Inc. (NACWC).
Historically, women of faith have come together through ESTLWC to serve in many vital roles within the East St. Louis community and beyond. The club is most recognized for sponsoring the J.J. Johnson Boys Club, several youth programs, the prestigious “Queen of Roses” pageant, the East St. Louis Fire Department, Police Department, Lessie Bates House, and the American Cancer Society.
Over the years, ESTLWC has awarded numerous scholarships to students from our communities, empowering future generations through education. Rooted in duty, service, and legacy, the East St. Louis Women’s Club continues to uphold its mission of making a lasting impact.
