Since 1973, the East St. Louis Women’s Club has been committed to empowering women, serving our community, and creating lasting impact. Through leadership, education, mentorship, and community service, we strive to uplift lives and strengthen families.

ESTLWC History
At a Glimpse-
The East St. Louis Women’s Club (ESTLWC) was established in 1973 and has a longstanding legacy of faith, service, leadership, and community impact in East St. Louis and surrounding communities.
Historically, women of faith have come together through ESTLWC to serve in many vital roles within the community and beyond. The club has been recognized for supporting and sponsoring community-centered initiatives, including the J.J. Johnson Boys Club, youth programs, the “Queen of Roses” pageant, the East St. Louis Fire Department, Police Department, Lessie Bates House, the American Cancer Society, and other meaningful outreach efforts.
Over the years, ESTLWC has awarded scholarships to students from our communities, helping empower future generations through education. Rooted in duty, service, faith, and legacy, the East St. Louis Women’s Club remains committed to making a lasting impact.
Crowned with Purpose, ESTLWC looks forward to continuing its mission as an independent nonprofit organization, serving East St. Louis and surrounding underserved communities with excellence, integrity, and purpose.
